Poster

Because we forgot to take pictures for a poster on set we decided that we had to use one from our film so Bradley this poster from a bit of our film. I think it has the right impact we wanted as it is quirky which is what our film is about i think we have managed to pull of a good poster, but there is some things that i think i would improve on next time. I would make sure that i had many photo's to choose from to make my poster this way i could have multiple choice and could make many different versions of the poster then i could choose which one looked the best and represented our film the best.

Camera skills

Tripods can be useful in many ways, for example the can steady shots give great pans and tilts smoothly. By keeping the camera still the tripod is the best advantage to a film maker to get a perfect shot that looks professional. Although they are a bit bulky to carry around they are god to use on location where the grounds isn't to smooth because the legs can be structured in a way that can still give a good look on a scene.

Using more than one camera increases the amount of shots and angles in one scene, in everyday television the most common place you will see more than one camera being used would be television shows such as Daybreak. this is because its more of a chat show so the more cameras they have they can see a lot more of the presenters reactions and movements on set. As well its more convenient to use more than one camera because instead of having one which has to be constantly moved, you can use the other cameras and keep them still and only move them when you change scene. Also If one shot looks bad in a camera then by using other cameras in different places you can see what angle looked best on which camera in what place.

Taking 2 camera's on set really helped me film because i could do multiple shots of one scene and could decide later which one looked better, also it speed up the filming process.

production so far

the production so far is going okay but we encountered some problems filming where bradley was unavilable to film with me this ended up with me filming by myself. i manged to get the script and the production schedule, they were hard to get because they were with bradley but i manged to get them so i had something to work with. it was hard at 1st to film without bradley because i didnt have a second opinion to help me make desicions about shots and angles but when i had finished i showed bradley the footage and we made little changes so we both liked the end product.
