Danger Signal
Watching the opening it looks like a typical noir film, it has the simple camera shots and shows close ups of the ring and the picture of the potential villain. The bits i like most from this opening is the close ups that zoom out to the environment also introducing a villain straight away but have the confusion of not knowing whats going on , and its slowly revealed to you.
Touch of evil
The whole of the opening scene was done really in one big long shot didn't seem to be any edits apart from at the end when the explosion happened. If i was to use any part of this scene i would use the conitious shot that reveals the setting and the characters in one easy hit.
Girls in prison
The start of this opening scene starts with a girl singing a song from around that area and then you get the typical storyline of guns police and a suspicious guy with a girl. watching through the clip it has the simple shots that a typical noir would have, i think simple shots but with quirky angles would looked good and I'm going to use them in my production.
POSTERS
They have all got a picture of the main femme fatal or love interest as well as they all are done in a realistic but cartoon illustrations with the last names of the characters who are important being bigger. the Characters on the posters are usually portrayed as being bad or good depending on the angle the facial expression and the position they are placed in, bad would be in a dark light and the eyes and facial expression would be slightly sinister, and good guy would be in a lighter light looking more Innocent. the bright colours and the interesting composition would attract audiences to go watch the film, because its eye catching and appeals to the target audience.
